Quaich Hand-Off at Sequoia in Georgetown, D.C.

T-Bone escorts the Quaich from Colorado to D.C. and hands it off to Fabric. Now we want to see Fred Barnes, Mort Kondracke and the rest of the "Fox News All Stars" drinking single malt from it in an effort to stimulate real debate. The Quaich --- fair, balanced and unafraid!

Quaich at Arrowhead Golf Club, Colorado

T-Bone, Swayze and Web met up for a practice round at Arrowhead Golf Club in Colorado on September 10th and brought along the Quaich. Here it is with Arrowhead's gorgeous red rocks in the background.

Quaich in Rehab

After a rough trip across the Atlantic last June, the damaged Quaich trophy is current under-going repairs at Object Design Studio (www.objectdesignstudio.com) in Denver. Once the rehab work is complete, the Quaich will begin it's year-long tour of the U.S. before travelling to Scotland for the 2010 Quaich Matches.

2010 Quaich Dates Announced

Quaich organizers have announced that the 2010 Quaich matches will be held from Friday, June 25 - Sunday, June 27. Specifics on venues will be announced shortly, but tentative plans have the matches taking place on courses in East Lothian region of Scotland.

"We are delighted to be hosting the 2010 Quaich matches," said Scottish Team Captain Graeme "H" Wilson. "And we look forward to bringing the Quaich back to its rightful home in Scotland."

"On behalf of the entire American team," said American Captain Chris "Cudman" Van Horne, "We look forward to becoming the first team to be victorious on foreign soil."

The Quaich is a bi-annual golf match played between friends from two countries --- Scotland and the U.S.A. With national pride at stake once again in 2010, we can expect spirited play and much drinking of spirits. Bring it!
